- Name origin
- "Yves" is pronounced and spelled in Korean as "eve"; in LOONA's lore she represented Eve, the biblical first woman, as the ninth member and leader of the sub-unit LOONA yyxy.
- Formation
- After debuting with LOONA in 2018 and leaving BlockBerry Creative in 2023, Yves signed with PAIX PER MIL and made her official solo debut on May 29, 2024 with the EP LOOP.
- Why fans love them
- Yves is loved for her distinctive alternative-pop sound — house, electronic, and R&B textures built around her expressive vocals — and for a solo reinvention praised by critics as one of the most interesting in recent K-pop.

Hit songs
Yves's official solo debut single, a dance-house track about the frustration of being trapped in life's repeating loops, featuring rapper Lil Cherry.
Why it hit: It announced her post-LOONA reinvention and anchored an EP named among Billboard's best K-pop albums of 2024.
A gleaming hyperpop collaboration with UK star PinkPantheress from the EP Soft Error, pairing bubbly production with both artists' airy vocals.
Why it hit: The high-profile collaboration announcement alone sent fans into a spin and broadened her reach far beyond the K-pop audience.
The pre-release single for Soft Error, an upbeat electronic track borrowing PC music, hyperpop, and Y2K elements.
Why it hit: It set the tone for her most experimental EP and previewed the glitchy, alternative direction of her solo work.
