About
- Name origin
- Jisoo is the shortened form of her birth name, Kim Ji-soo, used as her stage name since her BLACKPINK debut.
- Formation
- Jisoo debuted with BLACKPINK under YG Entertainment on August 8, 2016, and was the group's last member to debut solo, releasing the single album ME on March 31, 2023. She founded her own label, BLISSOO, in February 2024 for solo activities, releasing the mini album AMORTAGE in February 2025, then opening her first full-length solo album era with 'CLICK' on September 4, 2026 and 'ADDICTED' on October 30, 2026.
- Why fans love them
- Fans love Jisoo for a clear, elegant vocal tone, striking cinematic visuals, and a calm, witty screen presence that carries over into her acting work. From the flower-choreography viral moment of 'FLOWER' to the darker, storm-lit 'ADDICTED', her solo work pairs polished pop with a distinctly visual, story-driven style.

Hit songs
Jisoo's solo debut title track, released March 31, 2023 from the single album ME, a minimalist dance-pop song about leaving a relationship behind, with a cinematic, flower-filled music video.
Why it hit: ME became the first million-selling album by a Korean female soloist, and 'FLOWER' peaked at No. 2 on the Circle Digital Chart and the Billboard Global 200, with the most-viewed 24-hour debut by a K-pop act in 2023.
The title track of Jisoo's first mini album AMORTAGE (February 14, 2025) and her first release under BLISSOO, an electronic pop song likening the rush of new love to a tremor, with a lie-detector interrogation storyline in the video.
Why it hit: Her comeback after two years as a soloist, it passed 100 million YouTube views on February 7, 2026.
Released October 30, 2026 at 8 AM KST as the second pre-release single from Jisoo's first full-length solo album, a dark dance-pop track sung in English about being hooked on another person, with an underwater performance music video choreographed with Lee Jung.
Why it hit: Included here as the current single rather than an established chart hit: it is the darker second chapter of the full-album rollout after September's 'CLICK', and its video passed 5 million views within a day of release.
