About

Name origin
Jennie performs under her given name; her full English name is Jennie Ruby Jane, and the middle name Ruby also gave her debut solo album Ruby (2025) its title.
Formation
Jennie debuted with BLACKPINK under YG Entertainment on August 8, 2016, and was the group's first member to go solo, releasing 'SOLO' on November 12, 2018. She founded her own label, ODD ATELIER (OA), in November 2023 for her solo work, partnering with Columbia Records, and released her first solo album Ruby in March 2025, followed by the digital EP Fallen Angel on August 28, 2026, whose physical edition (six tracks, adding 'sweettooth', 'lockitdown' and 'Face') arrived October 30, 2026.
Why fans love them
Fans love Jennie for a sharp rapper-vocalist presence, confident fashion-forward visuals, and a solo catalog that moves from the sleek pop of 'SOLO' and 'Mantra' to the more personal, acoustic-leaning Fallen Angel era. Her Ruby Experience shows and festival headline sets have made her one of the most visible K-pop soloists on global stages.
