Comeback Calendar →About
- Name origin
- The name combines the members' Chinese zodiac signs: leader An Tae-gyu was born in the Year of the Dragon, while the other original members were born in the Year of the Horse (pony).
- Formation
- Dragon Pony first performed in clubs under the name Saehamano before Antenna introduced them on March 19, 2024 as the agency's first boy band. They debuted on September 26, 2024 with the EP Pop Up. Bassist Pyun Sung-hyun left the band and Antenna on August 25, 2026, leaving An Tae-gyu, Kwon Se-hyuk and Ko Gang-hun to continue as a trio, with the single 'Calling back' due on November 5, 2026 as their first release in the new lineup.
- Why fans love them
- Fans love Dragon Pony as a self-producing live band: all members take part in writing, composing and arranging their songs, and their raw, high-energy rock sound is built for festival stages. Their honest songs about youth, ambition and keeping going have earned them a reputation as a band to trust live, from Korean rock festivals to a Japanese debut and tour in 2026.
