About
- Name origin
- ALPHA stands for the goal of definitely becoming the best, DRIVE for passion and forward momentum, and ONE for eight members acting as a single official team.
- Formation
- Formed through Mnet's survival show BOYS II PLANET, whose live finale on September 25, 2025 selected the eight members. They debuted on January 12, 2026 under WAKEONE Entertainment with the mini album EUPHORIA, under a five-year project contract. Geonwoo has been on hiatus since April 8, 2026, so the group has promoted as seven members since then.
- Why fans love them
- Fans love ALPHA DRIVE ONE for powerful, tightly synchronized performances, a multinational lineup spanning Korea, China and Australia, and a record-breaking rookie run: their debut song swept all three major terrestrial music shows, and their first two mini albums both sold over one million copies in their first week, with the second album's U.S. release reaching No. 5 on Billboard's World Albums chart.

Hit songs
The title track of the debut mini album EUPHORIA (January 12, 2026), a hip-hop dance song built on a heavy beat and a catchy hook, with a powerful group choreography announcing the group's arrival.
Why it hit: The first debut song by a boy group in nine years to win all three major terrestrial music shows (Music Bank, Show! Music Core and Inkigayo), and EUPHORIA sold over 1.44 million copies in its first week.
The title track of the second mini album UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST (August 24, 2026), a modern reinterpretation of the raw energy of British rave and punk about pushing forward amid prejudice and labels.
Why it hit: Drove the group's second consecutive million-seller album with 1.13 million first-week sales, and its U.S. release reached No. 5 on Billboard's World Albums chart.
An indie alt-pop track blending refreshing synthesizer sounds with a stylish R&B groove, first released on UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST and re-released as a digital single on October 22, 2026 with a new dance-break version, showing a softer, more romantic side of the group.
Why it hit: Already a fan favorite as an album track, it was chosen for follow-up promotions with its first music-show stage on M Countdown on October 22, 2026.
